Welcome to Vestiaire PH! Before confirming your booking, please take a moment to read our rental policies carefully. These guidelines are designed to protect both our clients and our gowns while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable rental experience for everyone.
By paying the reservation fee, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies stated below.
1. Reservation & Booking Policy
Reservation Fee

A reservation fee is required to officially secure your gown booking.

Reservation fees are non-refundable but transferable under approved conditions.

Reservation fees cannot be combined with another client’s reservation fee.
Any excess in the reservation fee transferred will be forfeited and cannot be applied to cover the security deposit.
Sample Scenario
✅ Allowed:
Bride A reserved a gown but decided to switch to another available gown. Her reservation fee may be transferred to the new booking.
Bride A transferred her reservation fee to another bride who doesn't have an existing reservation from us.
❌ Not Allowed:
Bride A wants to combine her reservation fee with another client’s reservation fee to reduce costs.
Bride A wants to transfer the reservation fee to cover the security deposit of the other item she's renting.
Discounts & Promotions

Any discount applied during the original reservation will not carry over if the reservation is transferred to another gown or rental.

Regular rental rates may apply to the new booking.
Sample Scenario
You booked during a promo period and received ₱1,000 off. If you transfer your reservation to another gown later, the discounted rate may no longer apply.
2. Tentative Rental Dates
Rental dates indicated on the invoice may initially be tentative.
Clients are encouraged to:

Review the invoice carefully

Confirm all rental dates

Report any errors immediately
IF INTENDING TO EXTEND THE RENTAL PERIOD OR PICKING UP EARLIER OR RETURNING LATE, PLEASE LET US KNOW RIGHT AWAY SO WE CAN BLOCK THE ITEMS ON THOSE DATES.
3. Rental Duration
Our standard rental period is 4 days, counted from the date the item is picked up from the shop until the date the item is received back by us.
Important:
For courier returns, the rental period ends only when the item is physically received by us — not when handed to the courier.
Sample Scenario
If your gown is due on May 10 but the courier delivers it to us on May 11, late fees may apply.
4. What Is Included in the Rental?
Unless otherwise stated:

Rental pricing is for the gown only.

Veils, accessories, garment boxes, and other add-ons are rented or purchased separately.
1 plain veil is free to rent but is subject to availability. Applicable security deposit is needed to be paid. Make sure to specifically and clearly reserve the veil so we can block it on your wedding day.
Sample Scenario
A bride assumes the veil shown in photos is included. If it is not stated in the invoice, it is not part of the rental package.
5. Condition of Rental Items
All rental items are:

professionally cleaned
-
inspected before release
-
provided in good condition
However:
-
rental gowns are not guaranteed to be “brand new”
-
minor signs of wear may naturally exist due to previous use
We ask clients to maintain reasonable expectations regarding rental items.
Client Inspection Upon Receipt
Clients must inspect all items immediately upon receiving them.
If there are:
-
stains
-
damages
-
missing accessories
-
defects
please notify us right away with photo evidence.
Important:
Complaints submitted without timely photo documentation may not be accommodated.
Sample Scenario
✅ Correct:
Client receives the gown and immediately sends photos showing a loose bead.
❌ Incorrect:
Client reports damage 3 days later without proof.
6. Steaming, Pressing & Preparation
The gown will be cleaned before release, but steaming, ironing and pressing are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise arranged.
Additional steaming services may be available for a fee.
7. Fittings & Alterations
Fittings
-
Since rentals are not made-to-own transactions, fittings will have corresponding fees.

One final fitting on the pick-up day may be offered free of charge but needs to be pre-arranged
Alterations
-
Only temporary alterations are allowed which incur additional fees.

Permanent modifications are strictly prohibited.

All alterations must be approved and documented through our official communication channels (FB or IG chats).
No alterations are to be performed by the client without express approval of the owner to avoid penalty charges.
Sample Scenario
✅ Allowed:
Temporary hemming using tape or removable stitching.
❌ Not Allowed:
Cutting fabric permanently or resizing the gown structure.
8. Return Policy
Returning the Items
The items are to be returned to our business address on or before the agreed-upon return date, in the same condition in which it was received in order for us to refund you the security deposit in full. The items must be returned clean, washed, and free from stains, as it was upon release. For the Lessee's convenience, the Lessor offers an optional laundry service at a fee ranging from ₱700 to ₱4,500 (for long trail, 2-way dresses or large dresses: ₱1200 to ₱5,000) —significantly lower than standard external cleaning costs. Rates vary depending on the gown type, size and amount of cleaning needed.
Late returns are subject to penalty of P500 per day. Note that any returns made after 7PM is considered to be a return made in the next day so please schedule accordingly to avoid additional penalties. Net security deposit is refunded within 24 hours from the time we have received the items.
Damages and Loss:
In the event of loss or damage, the client agrees to pay the cost of repair or replacement, as determined by Vestiaire PH subject to penalties to be deducted from the security deposit upon final inspection. If the gown is found to be in unsatisfactory condition before the rental date, a replacement of the same size and design will be provided. If a replacement of the same type is unavailable, we will offer available gowns in the same collection at no additional cost, with no additional rental fees applied for the upgrade.
9. Courier Handling Policy
If clients choose courier delivery:

shipping fees are shoulder by the client

Vestiaire PH is not liable for courier-related delays, loss, or damage

Courier services operate independently from Vestiaire PH.
Sample Scenario
If the courier loses the package during transit, the client remains responsible for the rental items.
10. Replacement Policy
If an issue with the gown is identified before release, Vestiaire PH will attempt to provide a replacement gown or accessories of similar style and size. If the exact replacement is unavailable, alternative available gowns may be offered without additional upgrade charges.
11. Cancellation Policy
Reservation fees remain non-refundable.
Payments other than the reservation fee may be refundable depending on the timing of cancellation.
Sample Scenario
If a client cancels months before the rental period, payments beyond the reservation fee may still be refunded.
